October is a favorite month of the year for me in any year, but particularly in 2026, we are being blessed with an abundance of color that is not being taken down early by wind or storms! Touring the Hector and neighboring areas last week, we caught many displays of intense orange, yellow, and red!
Back closer to home, Parker and I enjoyed this stop at the home of a friend.
The blueberry bushes are blazing!

Further afield, near Keuka lake, I happened upon this field (in 2025) – confident they are still putting out the pumpkins this year!

Last year I was inspired to share the goodness of pumpkins with clients I have worked with over the years…so a few truckloads of these seasonal orbs were dispersed! These came from the good people at Stolzfus Family Farm on Rt. 96A, Romulus!
When you are surrounded by beauty like this, it seems sacrilegious if one does not acknowledge it. So here are a few more snaps of the glorious NY fall colors! The farmstand on Rt. 414 near Club 15 Road in Hector!
CSA goodness from Sweetland Farm in Trumansburg! Their carrots are a riot of color!
Parker after what may be his last bath of 2026!

And finally, a double rainbow!
And a wish for you to be able to marvel at your own rainbows, wherever you and they may be!
